proceed with caution. Anyhow lets get to the cruise. We flew into ft Lauderdale on Thursday dec 5th and took the shuttle service located at the airport over to B2 hotel in downtown Miami (Very nice hotel and near baside). If you are looking for a hotel in downtown Miami to stay before your cruise go with B2 very convinently located and less than a mile from the port. We took a cab from the hotel to the port I believe the price was $6.00 and it was only about a 5 min drive. Friday Dec 6th was the departure for the cruise which was very smooth. We got to the port around 2:30pm and embarking was a breeze. They had a sail away party which was pretty cool. Big BBQ style party by the pool. We stayed in room 6206 ocean view which was very nice and the stateroom steward (ours was Patrick from nicaragua) always kept the room very clean. They clean twice a day. Note that there is a 12$ per day gratuity fee per person which covers tips and all that. The Ship overall is very nice. Nice beach colors and very clean. At least 90% of the time we couldn’t tell we were on a ship as we felt no movement. Feels like your on land only a small percentage of the time you feel slight movement. On Saturday morning dec 7th we arrived at the first stop Great Stirrup Cay Nice private island. Great beach a ton of tropical fishes to see if you snorkel or not. Next Stop was Nassau which is nice as well. We choose to go to paradise island (Atlantis) for the day. Do to the Aquaventure tour which gives you access to the Aquarium, Water Slides/ Water Park, Beach etc.. If you want to do this tour book it on the cruise ship as it is 99$ when purchased on the cruise ship if you choose to purchase it at Atlantis its 125$. When you're in Nassau be sure to get some Conch Salad, you can't go to Bahamas without trying this. Cruise left Nassau at 5pm and did another farewell party. On Saturday was the famous white hot party which was very nice. Most people dressed up in their all white attire and partied the night away by the pool.

This was definitely a great cruise and we plan on going on more for sure. The ship had a nice mixture of ages as well. Very few young children were on the boat mostly ages between 20-40yr old was on our ship. The food was good as well. There are 3 specialty restaurants (additional charge 15-30$ depending on which one you go to) but we didn’t eat at any of those. There are also two fine dining options (non buffet) as well crossings and Palace these two you don’t pay any additional charge. The buffet restaurants were very good as well. Can't forget to mention I won 100$ at the casino playing Roulette. Disembarkment was a breeze as well. All in all I would choose Norwegian again for another cruise probably one of their other ships as I would like to see how those compare to the SKY. FYI the weather was perfect 83 and sunny in Miami and bahams. Hope this review helps.
