Sad its over

Sail Date: December 2013
Destination: Eastern Caribbean
Embarkation: Miami

Dec 1st was a great day we stayed the night at the Holiday Inn: Biscayne Blvd in Miami. What’s great its across from the harbor and all the shops … we were up at 4:30 watching the ships come into port from our room on the harbor side was cool to see. We headed over at 10 to get things rolling we parked at the port as we drove down from PA. We had a suite so we had the early boarding and faster to the fun I suggest all get this if they can. We had a small hiccup as the ship was still not empty but this was the only issue the whole trip. The Breeze was a true beauty.

Once on the ship we had luggage with in 1 hour with faster to the fun and our cabin was ready when we got on the ship. The ship was clean and the staff was great. We were in cabin 7352 and it was clean no issues the room steward was kind and did what everything we asked. We tipped her well at the end she had the room and beds done every night as soon as we left for dinner and while at breakfast cleaned More up. I was impressed with this staff member. We truly had no noise issues with this cabin; I suggest it to all the bed was comfortable.

Each Am we say on the deck watched the sun rise got ready for the day we had a sea day the first day. We ate at the BBQ place I suggest you ate there by 11:45 its only open the two sea days and this is the only line I noticed on the whole ship. We ate at guys 2 or three times was good no issues its burgers. We ate that the steakhouse 2 nights Fahrenheit 555 and I suggest all eat at it once. This was top notch it’s an extra charge but so worth it I can rave enough the service and food is the best. We also did the Italian one night its family style you need three or 4 to enjoy this. The food was good but nothing like the steakhouse. We did the 6 PM dinning so we did not miss any shows or things we wanted to do. Just a suggestion to all.

The comedy club gets packed you have to be in line at least 45 min early or you won’t get a seat.

The piano bar is just that a piano bar fun to do. We did team trivia each night at the Red frog pub at 8 pm was fun. From there was caught a show or did the deck party also fun.

We had three ports: Grand Turk we did a Margaretville, we rented at cabana was nice because we could lock up our stuff. But if you get off the ship early you can get plenty of seating with shade. I would still rent the cabana again it has air and cover and again locks.

In Jamaica we did Duns River falls cool running’s catamaran was nice and we could leave our stuff on the boat and it was safe that was nice while we climbed the falls. Note to all of you wear glasses you need sport glasses they suggest you do not wear your glasses to climb the falls well that makes it hard to see if you need them. Also if you have a camera it must be waterproof and you need a strap you can get the strap on Amazon.

In the Bahamas we shopped and took a taxis to Atlantis walked around and went into the casino. The cab was $8 for two each way. If you like to shop and you’re on Carnival buy the book and go to the shopping info seminar on the ports… we did we got so much free stuff it was great

The Farwell show was great. All the shows were great. We can’t say enough about this ship or the things to do. If your board on this ship shame on you! The staff in the Red frog pub deck 5 was great and so much fun tell Jenniel we say hello she is a hoot.,

There are a few surprises I won’t tell you about the pool deck one day is taking over so get up early and walk up each morning they pick different days but its fun.

If you like bananas the banana daiquiris are the best.

We had no issues at all I can’t tell you how much fun this ship is.

Small suggestion bring a small power strip. Bring a few binder clips these will hold your towels down on deck it’s a huge ship it’s windy. Enjoy the ship explore do it all. Less

Dunn's River Falls

In Jamaica we did Duns River falls cool running’s catamaran was nice and we could leave our stuff on the boat and it was safe that was nice while we climbed the falls. The falls are tough if your older or not in shape there is steps on the side but its 900 feet of climbing and you get wet from head to toe
