this was my sixth cruise, but first two week cruise. the two weeks flew by quickly. the ship was fine, but smaller, older and more basic than the solstice class ships ( our favorite) . we tried a sweet sixteen cabin and really liked the larger balcony and close proximity to the water. the cabin attendant Anabell was great. and the ship's activity crew was fantastic. Especially liked Baldo. some of the theater shows were amaturish, but we really enjoyed the comedian and Hector the magician. we like meeting the other passengers during the cruise. also enjoyed many of the trivia contest, water color classes and panama canal guest lectures. aft of deck 12 behind the basketball court is kind of a waste of space. overall the cruise was a good success. thank you celebrity, but the disembarkation was a huge mess. its unfortunate that a two week cruise "glow" is completely wiped away by a unpleasant 2 hour disembarkation with yelling passengers. luggage areas were not in numerical order (why is area 14 between on other side or terminal between areas 24 and 26?) , luggage pick up area numbers were posted too low so that they were hidden by the standing crowds, too little instructions by the cruise ground staff so that passengers were not told to collect luggage before standing in the very long customs line, too few customs agents, way too few cabs and confusing egress out of terminal- we missed out flight due to the messy disembarkation. lesson learned- we will do the early express walk off for now and on carry our own luggage.

pros:

-Hector the magician

Cabin Review

6033 was nice sweet sixteen cabin and close to the theater. no ajoining cabin door . cabin was quite. good viewing side of ship for east bound panama canal trip from san diego. ceiling connection of balcony privacy "divider wall" was rusted and loose, but we did not want to change cabins since we had booked this 9 months in advance.
