Ship Facts: Oasis of the Seas Review (by Cruise Critic!) | Oasis of the Seas Deck Plans
Beautiful ship, great staff, food needs improving

Just got back today from our weeklong cruise, and it was a great vacation. The ship is amazing, as others have indicated, with lots of daily activities for all ages. We took the All Access Tour, which costs $150, but well worth it if you want to see all "behind the scenes" workings of the ship, including the bridge. Its about 3 hours walking/standing. We ate at Chops the first night, and were disappointed. Sailed with RCCL in January, thought it wasnt worth the price then- but decided to give it another try. There is no way the filet is the same quality as Mortons or similar restaurants. The food quality overall is lacking in our opinion, Johnny Rockets hamburgers were so greasy, it dripped all over the plate. Again the meat wasnt very good . We had my time dining in the Opus, only ate there on formal nights. Its was ok, but nothing to get excited about. However the service was very good. Cafe Promenade was pretty good for a quick bite, Central Park Cafe had descent paninis, some of our group had the infamous roast beef sandwiches and loved them. Sorrentos is just ok for pizza, a step up from the frozen kind, but no ways near as good as a true New York pizzeria. They dont offer any breadsticks or sides to go with the pizza.

Our stateroom attendant, Nadine, was excellent- they really work hard to make your stay memorable. All the shows were good, we booked reservations as soon as they were available online ( around three months prior to cruise). As previously stated by others, the comedy club has a long, long line of people who get shut out because its such a small venue, you need reservations. The ship was very clean, everything showed very well. We didnt do any excursions, had been to the ports in the past. All in all, a great trip, would definitely do the mega ship again, like the variety. Might look at other cruise lines in the future, that is based solely on the food quality. This was third cruise with RCCL, have also been on Carnival and Norwegian. Our outside balcony oceanview stateroom was spacious enough, like the different spaces available to store stuff.
