Ship Facts: Freedom of the Seas Review (by Cruise Critic!) | Freedom of the Seas Deck Plans
my review on a lovely ship

Our first time cruising so were bit nervous but did not need to be .So we arrived at the port cases taken by porters ,checked in to get sea pass then walked on board went our room on deck 9 .Three of us in our room had double with sofa bed room was ok had a balcony which was handy, then went to eat as been up early had a quick walk round went back to room and cases were there so unpacked. Next thing we know we are departing people on bank watching the ship leave so gave them a wave. That night we ate at windjammer the buffet lots of choice at the back of ship so can be a bit bumpy, had breakfast here every morning lots of choices free tea, coffee, water ,juices.

So first stop was coco cay Monday morning tenders come to get you everybody seems to rush to boarding point (when told not to) there's no need to rush. Arrived at island a few market stalls found a sun bed (which are free) had a swim ,walk and sun bathe then it was lunch time a free bbq with drink (non alcohol) so lay on sunbed again before you no it its time to go back to the ship when going back you realize how big the ship is

Next day at sea watched ice show very good then windjammer at night again good choice of food, plenty of bars to go to schooner bar our favourite a quiz every night with fritz who was funny. Wednesday was st Thomas two other ships were they booked a island tour it was ok not very impressed with island not idyllic as thought it would be. next day was St maarten a ship already there had trip round island French/ dutch again not impressed a bit trashy we thought ,on the dock it was all jewellery shops . Next two days at sea eating a few drinks lunch was always at the buffet food was good lots of choices again laying on the pool deck only problem the best sunbeds got reserved early even when you were not meant to. On the Friday night went chops grille one of the best meals we have had well worth the extra charge, saw lots of shows all excellent went ice skating (not done for ages) 80s sing song on promenade was great. Now for the staff all helpful and friendly must mention Sean room steward on deck 9 (brilliant) and Richard spacey he is mad rock on mate !!So would we cruise again you bet cannot wait looking now .Theship isgreat ignore the bad reviews ok we never liked the islands but that does not mean you wont it was just our view coco cay was nice what a island should be
