Having been in 15 cruises before I had learned to take most reviews with a grain of salt. I had never tried Carnival before due to advice from many friends. My buddy and I decided that since the price was great and location close to give it a try.

First the good. The ship is older but for most part kept up and clean. Crazy way to adjust temp in room . You have to open and close vent in ceiling and no other way. The crew were very nice and the room large and bed great. The cruise director was great and man can he play a fiddle !

Now the bad. I got what I am sure was food posioning two times in five nights. First time not sure what it was from but second am pretty sure. For breakfast they had sausage cut in funny pieces . Guy in front of me asked if pork or chicken. The crew had no idea and no way to tell by taste as it tasted funny. I tried it but thank goodness very little, also the hamburger for lunch looked and tasted funny so only one bite. Was sick most of the last day and night. I heard several people had same problem as I did.
