We just returned from our seven day Thanksgiving cruise on MSC Divina and everything about it was five star ---especially the food and the entertainment!!! This is our fourth cruise with MSC . Last year we did a ten day cruise on Emerald Princess, but we found the food was not at the same level as MSC. Our friends who did both cruises with us also agreed that the Divina was superior in every way! They found the staff friendlier, always smiling , and trying to please. The beef was melt in your mouth delicious compared to tough beef on Princess. Also, the pizza was cardboard frozen on Princess and made from scratch on Divina!!! We have never had a poor meal on MSC, and Divina 's food more than met our high expectations!!!In addition to fine dining choices ,they offered grilled food like sweet potato fries cheeseburgers etc. My husband said the cheeseburger was wonderful !! We never felt the need to visit other dining rooms as we felt we had perfection already! As a woman who makes my own pies , enjoys quality fresh food ,and cooked large turkey family dinners plus roast beef and Yorkshire pudding dinners for over forty years I heave some background on the subject ! Don't listen to any negative reviews on the food . It is one of the reasons we keep going back!!!!

Secondly, the entertainment is incredible ! The first show got three standing ovations!! All the other shows got at least one or two standing ovations! You do not want to miss one show as it is world class entertainment!! The costumes are elaborate and a feast for the eyes plus the singers can really sing and the dancers can really dance. The acrobats leave you breathless. In addition ,the theatre is constructed so that everyone can see!! You can't find a bad seat for viewing! Also, throughout the ship there is a great variety of music to suit every age and taste!! We discovered an Italian -American couple in La luna bar who sang many songs that we loved---Patsy Cline,Loretta, Adele, George Jones, John Denver, Glen Campbell etc.One night they did a fun flower child theme in a 60's tribute. The young people were super at getting people participating . Another venue was more today's music for the young set --loud beat . They had music for everyone to enjoy!

Finally, the ship itself is stunning ! The pictures do not do it justice. It shines, glows , shimmers , and gleams !! It is kept spotless!!!!! It is elegant and beautiful beyond belief ! I never had trouble getting a table or a spot near a pool . The buffet is really well thought out with many stations and you never seem to be in a long line up! My only complaint is that we needed more time to enjoy the Divina ! The ship itself is a destination!!!

Cabin Review

This is a lovely suite at the front of the ship with a panoramic view. The room has a walk in closet , separate living room , vanity. , tub, marble bathroom and a balcony off the living room. There are two televisions . It has tremendous storage . We like the rocking of the ship at the front . We were surprised that we were conveniently located near everything and the walking was not as great as we feared . It is a quiet location .
