Azura the friendly ship

Sail Date: November 2013
Destination: Southern Caribbean
Embarkation: Barbados
14 nights on the Azura around the Caribbean, met lots of great people and attentive staff. We were worried about taking an inside cabin for the first time, but it was great and we hardly spent anytime in it anyway !

We have cruised many times, mainly with P&O and this cruise was exceptional in that there were none of the usual moaners on board.

We did not eat that often in the MDR as we preferred the glasshouse or Sindhu , where the food was lovely.

The entertainment was disappointing with the same old shows with even the sail aways becoming predictable ......YMCA and the Americana .... yawn !

The ports of call were superb , st lucia we did the cruise to the Pitons and the afternoon at the Kararoke in the Rum Shack. Grenada we took the water taxi to the Great Anse beach. The hike to middle ham falls in Dominica. Cockleshell beach in st kitts, try the rum punch in the Lion Bar. At st Maarten we went shopping then hit the town beach. Tortola, cane More garden beach followed by a painkiller at Pussers Bar. Bonaire . shopping and sunbathe at the small holiday complex (can't remember the name).

Curaçao shopping then Mambo Beach.

There were no problems with getting sun beds , or queuing at the buffet , cost of drinks , seats at the threatre etc etc

All in all , a great holiday on a great ship Less

Cabin review:

Inside cabin midships , comfortable and relatively spacious. Quiet with good access to all areas.
