We have previously sailed on RC - Oasis, Allure, Freedom, and Liberty and experienced fantastic trips and ports of call. The ports at Grand Cayman and Cozumel were fine and off loading and reloading were well orchestrated. Shoppping and day trips were planned activities and went off without a hitch. However, the Brilliance of the Seas was less than stellar. This trip was "disappointing at best." Service was limited by the wait staff until the 3rd day, food selection was often repeated, the dining area in the Windjammer was not clean (floors were greasy for 3 days), table service (providing of beverages, picking up used plates and utensils, wiping of tables) was limited at best, and there was little to no interaction with cabin attendants. Rita's Catina in no where near that of the Allure/Oasis Class. The menu is limited and there is no festive atmosphere.

Our balcony room was typically furnished, but the shear curtains were covered with black soot/mold, and the deck area and widows must have been cleaned with soiled linen. We used all of the venues and were well satisfied with the nightly entertainment (floor shows, Quest, Trivia, Pub, Casino, Kareoke, etc). However, the Centrum had extremely limited seating and hanging on a balcony edge is not a way to enjoy a show............the Centrum is too small to accommodate show viewing. Our pool side wait staff was exceptional: friendly, courteous, and remembered out names throughout the cruise and greeted us at every chance meeting. Although we enjoyed traveling with our friends, meeting new ones, and relaxing - we will not sail on the Brilliance anytime in the future. DISAPPOINTED!
