This was our 5th Cruise our first with Princess.
We arrived in Singapore 3days before joining cruise, and spent a further 3 days after cruise.
Singapore is great place for stop overs much to see and do.
We where advised by our hotel porter to leave before 12pm to travel to the cruise terminal as there where two cruise ships at the terminal and after 12pm it would be bedlam! Glad we took his advice as the cruise terminal had meltdown in the afternoon and boarding for many was delayed and departure was delayed by 3hrs. We had no problems as we arrived early we where processed and boarded in around 45mins.
We had a balcony deck 11 mid forward , the cabin was spacious and lots of drawers for storage. It's the quietest cabin we have ever been in.
The ship even though there where over 1800 passengers on board it never felt crowdered as there are so many places to either sit or lay about, the promenade deck has heaps of room with many deck chairs to relax on. All the bars and lounges from the Explorers to the Wheel House and Explorers night club lounges with every thing in between great places to relax with a drink or two.
Had evening meals at the any time restaurants. Did not try speciality restaurants . We used the buffet for breakfast and lunches great food with good variety and selection. The main pool areas had pizza and snack bars serving hotdogs and hamburger, chips etc.
All the staff we encountered where friendly and helpful.
The theater live shows where top class and all performers top class.
The only criticism was the lack of drink waiters in the theater to service huge capacity princess theater.
We visited 7 ports (+Singapore as arrival and departure port) 3 of which required tenders the tendering was well organized.
The whole 11days the seas where calm to very gentle swell, it's the smoothest cruise I have experienced so far. Usually after 11 days I'm looking forward to leaving the cruise as I'm cruised out, but on this cruise I could have spent much longer on board I enjoyed the cruise so much.
