Ship Facts: Explorer of the Seas Review (by Cruise Critic!) | Explorer of the Seas Deck Plans
Explorer of the Seas

Great cruise Royal hit is out of the park for us. Embarkation was smooth efficient. We had prevooked all info so the process went fast. We reached the ship about 145 pm our cabin was

Ready went to re explore the ship as this was our second time aboard. Ship was in good shape

Went to windjammer for snack and then prepared to emergency drill. Sail away was

29 to see but a little chilly. We did remember to carry on our two bottles of wine for the cabin

Our steward made sure we had wine glasses each day.

Dinner was fine each night there was always an entree we could enjoy.

The shows were fine ice show was impressive. The comedian was very good

The casino was fun we made a small deposit but finally was able to get on the

Plus side .... Pools and. Hot tubs were fine there was plenty of entertainment poolside

Ports of call San Juan all in what u make it we have been there before but stopped

At a restaurant where first margaritas were served had fun with small group from ship

St Thomas great port of call Megan's beach nice time spent few hours there shopped

In town have to buy tablecloth and booze to bring home

Dominican Republic next stop was ok it seems like they are trying to develop

This port to make it more inviting.

Labadee is fun we enjoyed this stop. Went to the beach that is located Past the

Location where the locals are set to sell to tourists. It is located a ways from the ship

But taKe the tram to stop and get on second smaller tram to this beach the ship staff

Also go there

Days at sea were great very relaxing.

Stop at champagne bar the bartender was terrific Vincenzo is the best. He moves to different bar

Each cruise He Also does the martini tasting. Good time

Overall we love the EXPLORER of the seas. We are somewhat sad to see it move to dry dock this time next year but are hopeful new ship fills the bill

Going out of New Jersey for us Connecticut residents is terrific.

We will take This 9 or 11 cruise again if offered on the new royal ship
