We are both midlife women who enjoy the convenience of cruising - unpack and relax. We had a fabulous time aboard the Spirit when we cruised out of New Orleans in 2011. The small ship, great and friendly staff, combined with fun onboard activities made for an easy choice when we discovered the Canary Island itinerary.

We left from Barcelona and were delighted to be greeted with the same warm welcome we remembered. We even bumped into some of the same staff, well ok, bartenders and the dance instructor. We were delighted with the service we received from bartender Dinu, in Maharini's, who provided exceptional service and good humor.

We discovered that the evening activities aboard the Spirit were, shall we say more low key than we experienced on the previous cruise. We made the best of our time onboard and took advantage of the fun parties in the Galaxy, especially fun was the Halloween costume party and disco dance nights. Read more
