From our fabulous embarkation, which took minutes to the short amount of time it took to disembark this cruise was wonderful
Our group met each other on Cruise Critic, Facebook, and Funville as well as the Original Cruise Lovers Connection FB group..
For us we stayed at the Comfort Inns and suites Miami Airport North which we found was just Ok.. carpets were showing alot of wear and tear to the noise of the planes so close by. there is nothing close by for last minute cruise shopping so for us We would give this hotel a pass on the next cruise... and choose another hotel.
Embarkation on the ship took minutes.. into security then to Captain lunge and on the ship, just that fast.
Went to the Lido for something to eat and our 1st tube of Thirsty Frog Red Ale.wonderful , cold and refreshing.
Muster drill was next which again was painless, compared to the Breeze last year our muster drill was done old school on deck,Again easy and back on the More ship for sailaway.
Next was dinner with our table mates from our group..Our servers Putu, Jacques and Roberto where friendly efficient at their positions.
Our Cruise Director was Josh Big Sexy Waitzman and Assistant CD Cav.. let just say these 2 are perfectly pared.. they made for some hilarious memories on board the lady Liberty
This was our 1st Suite and it was a lovely upgrade from the regular balcony. Loads of room and storage.. the jacuzzi hot tub was nice but difficult to get in and out of. the extra dressing area was nice as well. the decor was warm and restful but it was our Cabin steward Ketut that made the stay very special. He was very professional and incredibly helpful and polite..Whit a happy "good morning" Mr. and Mrs every day. When my husband mentioned that his neck was sore and asked about an egg crate, Ketut said "don't worry I take care of you".. I had no idea how well until we got back from Cozumel to a brand new mattress on each bed which was totally unexpected but much appreciated.. we slept well the rest of the cruise.
We did the Chef's Table on this cruise for the 1st time.. they served appetizers in the kitchen and then took us to a private dining room where there was a team of 10 chefs of varying levels but two stuck out David and Marin who were very one on one with us and I can say our wine glasses never went dry the whole Two and half hours.. Pinot Grigio and Merlot were free poured the whole time... along with some lovely foods.. This is a must do for the foodies for sure!!
As for the one board activities.. lots of Trivia , Bingo, Hairy Chest , and other classic cruise activities.
We never had any problem with intoxicated patrons, kids running amok on the decks, wild parties or anything else..
The Cruise was well run, staff seemed happy to be there and doing what they do and really enjoyed the close conversations with cruisers..
This was our 8th Carnival Cruise and I can say After being on the Breeze inaugural and then coming to the Liberty I did have some expectations.. I can say without a doubt. Lady Liberty did NOT disappoint. We can not wait to get back on board Carnival again soon.

Port and Shore Excursions
Nachi Cocom Beach Club
This is our second time at Nachi.. We loved the hospitality, the professional staff and the environment that is Nachi Coccum .. we will be back for a 3rd time any time!!
We had high hopes for this excursion but were very disappointed.. Getting tendered in went fine ti was waiting with 500+ others from 6 different ships in 90 degree heat that was not only unpleasant but could have ended tragically .. NOT because of anything that Carnival did but the tour company responsible for the busses nut being ready for that may people in the port.. There was many seniors and plus size people waiting for long periods of time with no water and the shade was disappearing quickly..
We finally for picked up and taken on very scary ride to the Turtle farm..the driver drives like a wild man( and my Husband is a professional driver). When we got to the Turtle farm we went thru the gates and over to the breeding tank then to the tank with the oldest turtle and then to the area where we could pick a turtle, then to the release tank where you can snorkel in the tank with the poop and slime from the Turtles YUCK!!! The predator tank was nothing but and big plate glass window with some fish and a Nurse shark as a Barracuda .. Boring!!!
We had the "Deluxe " tour with lunch.. not worth the extra $20 per person for Fish, Chicken, Rice and Coleslaw.. no battled water nothing to drink offered.. charged $2.00 for a 375ML bottle of water .
After lunch we went to the main gate and had Coconut water at $4,00 for 1 Coconut and left the park.. where just out side the entrance that bottle of water we paid $2 for was only $1.00.. NOT IMPRESSED!!!
Then the Ride back.. Wow.. make sure your life insurance is pad up for the ride back it was even worse..some of the passenger were screaming because the driver was taking the turns at such a high rate of speed..
I would not recommend this tour at this point in time
