Sail Date: Dec 2006

Hello everyone, I am finally getting around to writing my review of the Grand Princess, which I sailed out of Galveston, Texas on December 16th, 2006. Me and my girlfriend were first time cruisers.

Embarkation:

Let me start this section by telling you that I hate waiting in lines. Grocery lines, movie lines, Southwest Airlines A,B, and C boarding lines, you name it. When I arrived into the cruise terminal guess what I saw? A long line. My anticipation quickly faded as I saw what seemed to be an arduous journey of me and my mom's luggage through the embarkation line. To my pleasant surprise, it was only about 45 minutes from the time I got in line, to the time that I was busting out my cheesiest smile in my very first overpriced princess photo. First step onto the ship, the cruise was very friendly and out in numbers, trying to help everyone navigate the ship.
