My husband and I spent a most fantastic week on the beautiful, new Breakaway. We have been on about 25 cruises and NCL provides a wonderful cruise experience. In fact, we purchased another cruise reward on this cruise since we have 4 years to use it. We used a cruise reward from our April Pride of America cruise in Hawaii for this cruise.

It was fun embarking from New York as we spent a few days pre-cruise, exploring the most vibrant and interesting city and then headed to the port by 10:30.

We had an easy and quick embarkation and were sitting down and enjoying a quiet lunch in Taste.

Cabin Review

Great cabin location. Very quiet. Room large enough to totally store everything and suitcases fit under the bed. Wonderful large bathroom with great shower. Nice balcony with enough room to seat two people and a small table. It was smallish, but we could both sit comfortably and enjoy the view. It is after all a ship, and you cannot expect to be able to put a lounger on unless you book a larger balcony.
