We have cruised Carnival 11 times and this was by far the best!
We arrived at Port Canaveral about 1200 and by 1230 we were in the room and relaxing. We had friends that drove down and flew down and all were on board in great time.
May I mention we had a Cove balcony? What a wonderful arrangement. Yes there may be some galley noise but you have an awning (of lifeboats) of about 30 feet to protect from weather or sun. We had adjoining cabins and so joined our balconies and we had the best room on a balcony yet. extra width.
Room Steward I Made meet us on our first cabin visit and seemed to be ubiquitous! Always a smile and great service.
Our Crimson Room Dining team - Dante, James and Felix worked hard to meet the demands of our table of six.
Welcome aboard show was great as was the comedy juggler (WOW). Great talents in singers and dancers, James Cruise Director was everywhere, not just shows but arranging debarking, tendering, everywhere and always a smile (Great training John Heald!)
We had excursions in
Belize ..Air Boat- Chukka thru Carnival - WHAT fun!! Thanks to Maria and Sandy! Our second repeat of this tour and ride and it is marvelous. We will be back
Roitan- Beach chair lift and clam shell- Water was perfect and we had a ball. My wife declared that this is our current favorite spot
In Cozumel we went down the road to the Ferry slip and ate at Palmeras. Great food
In Costa Maya we just stayed in the compound but my lovely bride managed to help the economy!
Our only down issue at all was that Port Canaveral has started charging for 8 days of parking for a 7 day cruise. That means they collect 450 days of rent for every car space and that is just wrong. Even our friends that were late to debark left the lot 2 hours before they would have been there 7 days. Shame on Port C
Thank you Carnival for a great time. (BTW the snacks (NIBBLES!) were really very odd and not so tasty at the Past guest party)
