The Soltice is a beautiful ship with wonderful decor.
Our cabin was the best we have had on any other cruise ship. It would have been nice
To have dimmed bedside lighting.
The state of the art tv was the best we have had.
The crew were hard working and pleasant
Main complaint was that there was nothing to do on board.
Although the soltice theatre was comfortable - better than Cunard. - the
Performers were less than average, as was the cruise director.
I play bridge, but it was unavailable . The card room did not have a notice board
To request a game between passengers
I was prepared to play Majong but needed at least 2 other people.
The library did not have a librarian.
No jigsaw puzzles, no bright comfortable room for relaxation.
No craft classes, no art sessions, no styling for ladies, no scarf tying.
No newspapers, Internet too expensive even the crew went ashore to catch up
No. Computer room with computers for games etc.
BUT silly trivia was played about 5 times a day. Trivia should have been a fun time
With lots of rivalry pfereraby mid afternoon in a bar.
Food was mediocre Blu was poor with wait staff determined to get you through in
Just over 60 mins. This was denied when I challenged them.
It is understandable that meals on a cruise ship cannot be cooked
From scratch but something fresh would have been wonderful
