I have now sailed on Seabourn 3x and can say this was my best experience. To put in context, I travel a lot for business and am fortunate to stay in many of the finer hotels in the world. In addition, I have cruised on Regent, not to be repeated under any circumstance. We choose Seabourn because we like the quiet and relaxed atmosphere, the no hassle room service and great food. This cruise was really lovely; in addition to the superb chef (Kurt) on board, great speaker (Rob Warren) and the always charming John Howell - cruise director - we met some really interesting fellow travelers. I see the usual carping by people that has become to prevalent on websites, but overall I think Seabourn does a lovely job. I have never found the waiters to be rude, although I have seen more than a few rude and vulgar guests showing off.
Food - overall the quality is high, even when challenged to get good fruits in places like Dubai they make an effort. Theme meals are for the most part excellent. The seafood and meats are first rate and the caviar is delicious
Wine- the French house champagne is great, the complimentary wines very good.
