Ship Facts: Seven Seas Voyager Review (by Cruise Critic!) | Seven Seas Voyager Deck Plans
Great Ship - Wonderful Trip

Regent did a great job of making the trip as seamless as possible. The flight from Houston was non stop to Frankfurt and small hop to Venice. The water taxi from the airport to the hotel was nice (we rode by ourselves), accommodations(Hotel Excelsior) in Venice were upscale, and the water transfer to the docks was pleasant.

Boarding the ship was quick (Champagne as you arrived), everyone was processed in the Constellation Theater. Luncheon buffet was served in La Veranda and the cabins were ready within two hours of arriving on the Voyager.

The cabin appeared just like the brochure showed (well appointed and plenty of hangers in the closet). Well appointed cabin with a large closet and bathroom. The closet had plenty of room for two people, suitcases, and enough hangers for your clothes. The bathroom had separate tub and shower, and shelves and cabinet storage. The mini-fridge was kept stocked and the Welcome Champagne was a nice touch. The bed was comfy, plenty of pillows, and the linens were soft. Plenty of room in the cabin to have friends over for evening drinks.

Shore excursions were well organized but when traveling in Europe walking surfaces are rarely flat or smooth surfaces. All the dining venues were great, but the main dining room, Compass Rose, is not open early. If you are taking an excursion, La Veranda, Pool Grill, or room service are your options. We enjoyed the evening entertainment (plenty of variety - Don't miss the Crew's show) and the afternoon Tea. We did not visit the casino, the internet cafe, gym or spa. We tried each of the lounges but preferred Horizons and Observation lounges. We opted for extra days in Istanbul (on our own), so we left the ship late. We walked for the ship claimed our luggage and had to to leave the port terminal to meet our hotel transfer.

Overall, if you like being spoiled, I would recommend sailing with Regent.
