We recently cruised aboard the Radiance of the Seas on December 17-23 2006 to the Western Caribbean.

The Embarkation- We had an red eye flight from LAX. I will not do that again. Go a day before and stay the night so you are well rested. We took a taxi from FLL for about $15. We arrived pretty early and checked in around 11:30. Very easy process,no long lines and we were on the ship by 12:15.

The Ship- The ship was absolutely beautiful. We had a Junior Suite which was the way to go. It was very spacious with plenty of closet space and drawers for clothes. We spent a lot of time at the spa. We bought a pass ($99.00 a couple) that allowed us to use the facilities for the week. We loved to go and lay in the heated mosaic thermal chairs and lookout at the beautiful clear water. My husband would go workout everyday and then head to the spa to use their dry and wet sauna, aromatherapy sauna, and tropical showers. We also had a couples Rasul treatment for $85 that was so romantic and fun. We also loved to spend time in the Solarium which is the Adult only pool area. It was very relaxing. The outside pool area was where the party happened. Music, drinks, and good fun every time we sailed away from a port. The inside of the ship was well taken care of and clean. We often went to the Centrum to take pictures and there was usually a musical act playing at night. The nightly entertainment in the Aurora Theatre was pretty good. The talent was definitely there, but the shows could of been better organized.
