Food in Windjammer Cafe was horrible. Selection was poor. Taste/quality was poor. Left-overs (which seemed to be frequent) were poor. Everyone was complaining. Another couple who were on their 10th RC Cruise even complained. They traveled on the Grandeur 2 years ago and said it was fantastic then. They had no idea what could have happened unless staff had changed.

I would not recommend Horseback Riding Shore Excursion in Costa Maya. The guide was very nice, but the horses looked as if they were in terrible condition. Most of the "jungle tour" was holding on to the horses because they were up to their knees in mud. Trail guide helpers at the ranch did not put stirrups at the right length and therefore had to make stops to adjust them as people's legs started aching. I understand that it is a poor country and a fairly new port, but RC should check out some of the conditions that surround that particular one.

Other than that, the cruise staff were very friendly and eager to help, and the entertainment was good. Ports were easy to unboard and board. Tenders were OK, with the exception of the ones in Cozumel, where tender operators bugged you the entire time to buy their wears.
