There were some good things we enjoyed on this cruise but overall we were disappointed. We cruised Holland American and Celebrity and rated both A+ with this cruse being a C+ at best. The ship left the port of Miami close to 2 hours late. We were in line for over 2 hours in a tent with dirty out house facilities before walking onto the ship. The procedure was totally unorganized not to mention baggage check in, parking and shuttle to the ship.  Stepping onto the ship is one of the enjoyable experiences and Costa and the port of Miami should be ashamed of themselves for treating their customers this way. Very difficult to find coffee in the morning for breakfast, silverware and the food variety was limited. Some of the staff was not helpful in the upstairs dining area.The main dining room food was good and the services was good at the table we were seated. Still this was not as good as other cruises we went on in past years with other lines. They need to throw away the green and blue plastic cups used in the buffet area as they are cheap and do not keep the coffee hot. There were no bands on board other than 1 or 2 performers playing and singing over pre recorded music. Some were good but after a while it became boring. Once again I am comparing this to other cruise lines. The sail aways were boring and not festive. The ship was very clean and rich in decor but did notice that the food servers did not wear gloves. The ports of call were good with the exception of Freeport which is a waste of time. Some passengers I talked to said they sailed this ship before and had a good experience. Maybe we just hit it wrong but I find myself joking that the C on the stack should stand for Crappy not Costa
