Embarkation was smooth and seamless on this cruise. We have done this many times and were prepared with our Set Sail Passes, Passports, and Bahamas Immigration forms. When we checked in we were informed that the Itinerary had been changed due to high seas at COCOCAY. We were stopping in San Juan on Tuesday instead and that was fine with us. The whole check in process took less than 45 minutes and by noon we were having lunch in the Windjammer. We had pre determined that we wanted to have dinner at Portofino on Wednesday evening so we made our reservation right after lunch. At 1 PM we headed for the cabin to drop our carry ons and checked on our bedding request. RCCL and our cabin attendant were right on the ball. Everything was as we had requested. We only saw our steward twice but everything was perfectly attended to right down to the towel animal of the day every day. We chose our cabin location based on it's proximity to the Concierge Lounge. We used it every day for breakfast and cocktails before dinner. Ricardo, our concierge, made life easier with tickets for the ice show and assistance with reservation changes at Portofino. There were a lot of Diamond members and suite guests so RCCL opened a second location on Deck 14 for evening cocktails. The food was exactly as we expected based on past RCCL cruises. In the Windjammer the Jade section provided some additional variety with an Oriental flavor. Promenade Cafe had it's usual coffee, tea, pizza, cookies, and finger sandwiches. Ready 24/7. The dining room staff was excellent as always and the service was up to RCCL's demanding standards. The entertainment was excellent. Great ice show! Comedy was top notch and the RCCL singers and dancers did 2 very good review shows. The cruise staff was the best we have experienced in our dozen cruises. Becky Thomson was a petite blond bombshell that just energized the ship. It's no wonder she has been tapped for the CD slot on Liberty of the Seas. Philip Munro the AD was great. This is our second trip with Phillip and his Bingo Whoop-Whoop echoed all over the ship.Emma Lou Graham was ever present at activities and just made us feel welcome whenever we encountered her. The Cruise Critic connection was invaluable! We created a table for 10 by meeting on the thread and had a great time at dinner. Others on our thread also prearranged their dining companions and it was fabulous. We had 109 sign up for the meet and mingle and we actually arranged a pre meet in the Schooner Bar before sail away. This allowed us to meet before Tuesday and enjoy each others company longer. By the M&M on Tuesday we were well into things with our Cruise Critic cohorts. It did give us a chance for the obligatory group photo. St Thomas and St Maarten were great as usual.Good weather and great scenery. Tried Snuba for the first time and visited Paradise Point for the first time and enjoyed both. Debarkation was just as smooth as when we arrived and got on the ship. When they called our color off we went. Luggage showed up as expected getting on and off and there were no bad things to surprise us during the trip. We're ready to go again!
