TOLD NO EXPRESS!... after standing: took it upon myself to get in a short line for those who had traveled before with Princess ... no problem checking-in here.) Cabin: (mini suite) good size... open balcony (rating:2) bath: a piece of paper by toilet, stayed on the floor the entire 7 days... grout needs to be scrubbed off tile floor beds: (rating:3) carpet: OLD needs to be replaced sofa: stains on the cushions safe: SMALL! closet: good size ( NO door ) Dining: Speciality : (Sterling Steak) Rating:5 (Sabatini's ) Rating: 5 A LOT! of FOOD Da Vinci's : Any time seating ( when we went) SERVICE: Rating: 5 (Alberto & Sergio) FOOD QUALITY: Rating: 3 to 4 Horizon Court: need to work on a better buffet set-up/ people running into each other FOOD QUALITY: Rating: 3 Entertainment: EXCELLENT! Piano Player / Patrice POOR! Main Shows... (singers need work on PITCH! ) FAIR! Main Shows... ( dancers ) EXCELLENT: Last show comic Shore Excursion: New Wave Snorkel ( Rating: 5 ) Ports: Costa Maya : Rating: 4 ( shopping nice area ) Roatan : Rating: 2-3 no shopping area (very small) good place to snorkel or scuba ) Belize : 4 ( a LONG! tender run ) Large shopping area (secure) (if you have not been; try one of the shore excursions) Cozumel : 9 ships in port since the damage: some of the piers have been restored GRAND was able to dock (down town) LOT of SHOPS! LOT of BARS! ( be careful of what you drink ) As usual the shops aboard put out some good buys near the end of the cruise...
Disembarkation: On 12/23/06 A LONG PROCESS... Not the fault of Princess... The Port Authority only had 4 agents on Duty to handle over 2,300 Maybe Galveston will wise-up to the fact; they need to work out the problem when people are trying to get on and when people are trying to get off the ship in the same area!
