We stayed at the Hilton Hotel as it came with the cruise pkg. A beautiful hotel in the Blue Lagoon area! It was packed with other cruiser's and as a result it took ages to get on our bus. I'd rather go on our own in a taxi to the port and not waste so much time in the lobby. The embarkation went fast and smooth. By the time we got on many were at the bar's and extremely loud and happy. It set the tone for the "Party Ship". There was 12 lounges which were very smoky and noisy. We found one that had a postage sized dance floor right in front on the band but in time I had coughing fits and had to leave. We didn't enjoy seeing the amount of people who had drunk too much and couldn't walk straight if they tried. The ship would probably be great for young ones but us in our 50's, it was way too much of a party ship. The food was superb, just wonderful. And we loved our balcony which we were upgraded to from an oceanview. We had breakfast (a cold one only) delivered to our room each day but often missing cutlery, toast or cream cheese etc. If you want a cruise to dance on this is not the one. Royal Caribbean is great. I didn't enjoy having to see kids practically making out near the casino area either. The tour to Trunk Bay on St. John's island was pretty. I only saw two white fish while snorkeling! The color's of the sand and water were superb. The boat is well maintained and clean. Be sure to bring a sweater as it was cold in the boat. We missed San Juan and it rained and stormed in St. Maarten so we just took a water taxi to the downtown area and walked. I loved the shops and variety.
