Considering the Serenade of the Seas? Take my advice and Get Out There!!!

First, I will start with some demographics. This is my 4th cruise and my husbands 5th, but our first on Royal Caribbean. I am 24 and he is 30. We have previously sailed on Carnival and enjoyed each cruise, however, our last Carnival cruise on the Destiny left us with the desire to try something new.

This ship is beautiful! The decor is very warm and inviting. Every room was designed to be a masterpiece. My favorite room was the Safari Club with dark, rich woods complimented by deep blues. Reflections Dining Room was a close second and even has a waterfall. I do prefer the decor and atmosphere on the Serenade over any of the Carnival ships I have sailed. The Serenade is more of an understated elegance vs. Carnival's Vegas-like bright colors and lights.
