This cruise was our 15th wedding anniversary gift to ourselves. We are both 66 so this review is from a "seniors" prospective. Overall, this was the best cruise we have ever taken. The service aboard this ship was just about as good as it gets; friendly, smiling faces; respectful, and accommodating. We flew tourist the whole trip departing Pensacola, FL to DFW, LAX and then on to Papeete. Departing flight was Papeete to LAX, ATL, to PNS. All the flights went smoothly with no hiccups. Luggage transfer was efficient and timely; no complaints there. We had flown first class to Hawaii and didn't think the service in First Class warranted the extra cost so this time we took Air Tahiti's Economy Class. The service in Economy was excellent! They served two "real" meals with complimentary beverages (even beer!)going to Papeete and upon returning, a snack upon boarding and breakfast. Very happy with Air Tahiti's service.

Hint: Take a neck pillow for sleeping in the airports and on the plane; noise canceling headphones, and comfortable shoes for standing long periods of time going through security and immigration/customs.

Tahiti and the Cook Islands are beautiful; our favorite being Moorea. Least favorite was Bora Bora; not so much the beauty of the Island but the conditions in town (dirty, trash in the streets, un-neutured animals running wild although not vicious), abandoned vehicles, etc. Plus Bora Bora is EXPENSIVE. Note: The more exclusive resorts on Bora Bora do not allow unregistered guests onto their property to have dinner or cocktails, even cruise ship passengers.
