My husband and I enjoyed our 5 day cruise with stops in Key West and Mexico. We live fairly close to Port Canaveral and drove to the terminal. For $12.00 a day we were able to leave our car to be parked for the duration of the cruise. The embarkation was easy with personnel helpful with pointing out the procedure to embark and since we were a bit early, they explained that we could go to the Lido deck where a buffet was set up for us. Thus we got our first taste of the seemingly unending food that would be available throughout the cruise.

Room: We had a suite with a balcony and found the room to be spacious, clean and a large comfortable bed with wonderful pillows to sink down into. Throughout the cruise we found such pleasure in the private balcony. (think we may be spoiled now) We loved watching the scenery, the ports, sea, and even had breakfast one morning on the balcony. Our room steward was efficient, polite, helpful and kept our room in tip top shape, could not have asked for a better room steward. There was the little personal touches of the adorable folded towels made into animals, the chocolate mints, the fluffed pillows, etc.

Food: Elation provides many choices for your eating preferences. The Lido deck has a small buffet of hamburgers, hot dogs, french fries, salads located just outside Tiffany's where there is a large buffet. We liked checking everyday to see what the "Taste of Nations" cuisine would be. This could be Mexican one day, French another, or Italian, etc. In the back of Tiffany's one can find a variety of Deli sandwiches, here also is Pizza. We laughed one day to hear a lady say to the waiter "you are killing me with this pizza, I am addicted to it". It was delicious. We tried each place at times but our favorite was the main dining room. (There are two main Dining Rooms...Imagination and Inspiration..we had the Imagination dining room.) We found we had been assigned the late seating so we requested an early seating and the Maitre d' found us an early seating. We found the food in the Main dining room to be quite good.
