I must say after going on Holland for a one night cruise, I was doubting the Conquest was going to be as nice. Boy, was I wrong! the ship is beautiful and very well maintained.  We flew from Seattle the day before and stayed at the Doubletree in Houston. Great place. We took a bus to the pier and were on the ship within a hour. Very painless. Our room was ready and our bags came shortly after. The balcony was well worth the $ and I won't (o.k. I probably will) cruise without one. The ship was really rocking the first 2 nights so don't drink too much! After that it was fine. We ate in the dining room every night and our waiters (De-wa+ Juan) were the best! I miss them already. Formal night was great. Make sure you take advantage of the pictures. The backgrounds are great and the photographers really know what their doing. Our first stop- Jamaica . My husband went on the canopy tour and loved it. I took our 2 girls 6+8 to Sunset beach. It was awesome!! Well worth the money,as everything was included. All the food and rum drinks I could stuff in my body. (40.00 for me, 20.00 for each kid.)Next was Grand Cayman-My favorite. The girls and I swam with the sting rays (o.k. just me- they freaked)and then they took us snorkeling. That was the hi-light of our trip. The water really is as blue as you see in pictures. Next was Cozumel. We took a cab to Paradise Beach. Free entrance and chairs. 9.00 for wristbands. (rock climbing wall, trampoline, snorkel gear). That was fun I sat and drank a bucket of bear-Not the whole bucket- and watched the hubby and kids play. Very relaxing. After that we SHOPPED!! Save your shopping for Cozumel, they have great deals. Make sure to buy real vanilla. Cheap.

Camp carnival- Oh how I love those people. My kids never wanted to be with us- Darn...They loved it! It was nice to have dates with the hubby and play in the casino.I cant say enough good things about it.

All in all we had a great time.We met some great new friends(Donnie+Cheryl). We've gone to disney- world and land the past 7 vacations so we were nervous about a cruise, We didn't think there would be enough to do but we were wrong. We will do it again in a few years after We've paid for this trip..Ha Ha -Meanestmom
