Review of our very first cruise  Grand Princess 11/25/06

What a week! We experienced lots of new things - some awesome, some a little strange, and some not-so-great. I'm afraid that if I group by categories (food, cleanliness, shore ex., etc.) I'll forget some, so I'll just go day by day.

Friday Nov. 24, Galveston.  Galveston seemed very pretty when we arrived Friday night. We stayed at the new Baymont Inn and Suites. We got upgraded to a direct ocean view room very large and clean. Friday night we met at Joe's Crab Shack with some cruise critic people and had a great time. It was wonderful to make connections so early. We even gave one couple a lift to their hotel and they gave us a tour of the town in the process. Read more
