We live in the Orlando area. We left home about 9:45AM and arrived at the port at about 10:45AM or so. We parked the cars (5 of us traveling) and took our luggage to a porter to check it. We tipped the porter, and once again, I didn't see the no tipping signs that have been reported. We boarded the ship within 20-30 minutes after we went thru security on the first floor.

We weren't able to go to our cabins until 1PM so we went to the Windjammer for lunch. The food was typical Windjammer except for the carved roast beef. That was as tender as could be and I probably could have eaten just that.

After lunch we went to our cabin. This was our first time on a Voyager class ship and we had a JS, as did my sister and her husband. My dad, traveling alone, had a D1 which was plenty large enough for him. Our cabin steward came to introduce himself and we had a few questions for him. Before the cruise, I called to Special Needs and requested a refrig that was cold enough for medicine as well as a sharps container. I also requested the beds be separated and that we both had egg crates. We didn't notice any of those things, so we asked the steward who said he wasn't notified of any of our requests. He did remove the snacks from the refrig so we could put the med in and fortunately we brought out own sharps container.
