This was our second cruise on this ship and fifth cruise (Miracle and the Pride) on a Spirit class ship. We love the design and will go again. The sea was very rough but it was not an issue with any of our crowd of 6 persons. The master of the ship was from Italy and had the greatest command of the English language of any Italian officer and had a wonderful sense of humor in his appearances and on his daily noon announcements.

Embarkation: The ship left on Friday the 24th and was the only ship departing Port Everglades so I expected no issues. When we arrived at Dock 21, I dropped off my traveling companions to stand in the rain to get into the building. Being both a suite occupant and a Concierge Club member we headed to the VIP station to sign in and waited and waited until the individual working the desk register 20 people in a party for one person in a wheel chair. When it was our time we were registered and the woman asked who need a chair. I pointed out to her this very large sign next to her that this was VIP check in. She seemed mystified. Well, after passing security it was a very quick trip to our cabin. The only security issue was that a screener thought a can of A&W root beer was beer since she had to ask a companion if it was OK.

Cabin was a suite at the aft of the ship. It was one of the 6 category 11 cabins with separate bedrooms. It was well designed but the ones on deck 4 and 8 are a slightly better design. There were three chairs and three chaises on the verandah. Our cabin steward was excellent and the cabin was clean and properly air conditioned. The TV stations were well chosen for the football enthusiast. The only addition that would improve the lineup would be ESPN. I will admit that I learned about Denver since they were the home of the ABC, NBC, and CBS stations. We had our laundry done every day since it was provided in Concierge Club members so we were able to leave the ship with very clean cloths.
