We were scheduled to leave NY at 4:00 PM. The Captain informed us that we would be leaving one half hour late. Some minor repairs had to be made.We left at 5:00 PM. The next morning i noticed that we seemed to be sailing at a reduced speed. Sometime during the day we were informed that there was a problem with the azipod and we would have to proceed to Norfolk Va. There were two reasons for this,one bad weather further south and the azipod was still not working.We were informed that we would sail for Fla on Tues morning.Tuesday came and went with no sailing. Again we were told weather and a non fixed azipod was the problem.  Now we were told that we would sail Weds morning for Freeport. Weds came and went. Same reason for not sailing, weather and broken azipod. Weds evening we were informed that Thurs morning 6:00am we would set sail form NY. with our broken azipod. Later that afternoon and for most of the night we sailed into 50mph winds and 12 to 14 foot seas. It seem the corporate offices in Miami wanted the ship to get to NY on Fri so that they would have 2 days to repair the azipod in NY to be ready for the next sailing on Sunday. Weather didn't stop us from getting back to NY. It should be noted that Fri. was a nice warm sunny day that would have made the return to NY much calmer than the day before. It should also be noted that the cruise line has offered to refund the fares. On monday Nov27th i attempted to reach NCL by phone in regards to some billing matters. I was on my speaker phone for 70 minutes and was unable to speak to a representative. I tried again on Tues for 50 minutes with the same frustrating results.Customer Service? Where? NCL has lost me as a customer.
