Travel to Boston was fine. Our stateroom was very nice, as well as the ship was very beautiful. Our waiters and room steward, and room service was also great. Shore excursions, although expensive, was also nice. The entertainment over all was good.
This was the 14th cruise I have taken, and I will have to say the dining room food was the worst I have ever eaten. To serve root vegetables every night along with some of the things they served were absolutely awful. It was the first cruise I have ever been on that I actually ate steak or chicken rather than the terrible main courses they had, of which I ordered, and had to send back. Even lobster night was terrible.
Royal Caribbean seems to plan their activities around 90-95 year old people, and although I am a 68 year old lady, I do not go on cruises to spend my time doing activities that only pertain to taking care of my body. It is very comical to read the daily paper, and see at least 8, and many times more activities on taking care of your body. What fun activities they had, of which were few, were either done at the pool, or late at night. I also do not spend time at the pool, nor do I stay up until 10:30 or 11 to go to watch an activity.
