Arrival/Waiting/Embarkation

We didn't park at the pier, but it seemed that there was ample parking. The traffic immediately around the pier, getting into it, and getting into the Lincoln Tunnel is astronomical. (Even on a Sunday... but the Spirit was in port today, too.) Perhaps the traffic coming in from the north is better? (--> GW Bridge instead of Lincoln Tunnel?)

I only got Latitudes after this cruise, so we didn't use the lounge. Another CC'er, though, said it was nothing to shout about, just a few cold sandwiches. Plus, they were also told that if they went there, they couldn't use pre-registration. (All the paperwork is done and keys given, so when security opens you just get on the ship. Although, it took us no time at all to get through that.) So, they pre-registered and then went to the Latitudes lounge to pick up a sandwich, and then waited in the first few rows. (They were ~really~ early.) They were on-board shortly after noon.
