We (two adults and two children - 9 and 13) arrived at the terminal around 2:00 and was on the ship in no time. The checkin process with RCL was outstanding and efficient unlike other lines, in fact, after a quick lunch and exploration of the ship, our luggage was at our stateroom. The ship itself was very clean and well taken care of. We booked an inside stateroom and were very happy - good size and even had a refrigerator. Our cabin attendant was cheerful and attentive - very professional. One of the key things of a cruise is the Cruise Director and his staff. In this case, the ship's Cruise Director, Allan Brooks and his staff were OUTSTANDING (and a pretty good dodge ball player's as well, even though they lost - finally). Allan was very engaging and knew how to work the crowd! As far as entertainment goes, it was pretty good with the exception of the ice skating show which was OUTSTANDING. This is a show you do not want to miss - world class in all regards (think moving ship, high energy and awesome talent). The food on the ship was good, usual highs and very little lows. Couple of lows: the highlight for our kids was the soft serve ice cream service which was closed often and early in the evening (10:00...) and there was very little in the way of late snacks(with the exception of the late night buffet - VERY GOOD). One other things...very little in the way of trash cans...

The ports we went to were in the western caribbean (Belize, Costa Maya, Cozumel and Cayman Islands). Belize - if you don't go on an excursion you may as well stay on the ship - not much there (maybe in a few years...). Costa Maya - shopping was OK, again take the excursions. Cozumel - nice depending on where you docked. We docked at the north end and still showed signs of damage from last years hurricanes. This area is not near the "shopping district" and requires a taxi ride. We did an excursion (clear bottom kayak and snorkeling) but had to drive about 30' to the other side of the island due to rough conditions. This was OK as well...The stop at Cayman Islands was not to be as the port was to rough...that happens. I don't think we will be cruising to the western caribbean anytime soon.... Overall, this was an excellent cruise for families with a great staff that kept things moving and always had a smile - we certainly will be cruising with RCL again.

One more thing, this was our second RCL cruise and they definitely know how to take care of their repeat guests
