I recently returned from a 7 day Eastern Caribbean cruise on the Norwegian Jewel. This was my second cruise on the Jewel, the first was her second sailing. The ship looked just as good on this cruise as she did when she was just out of the wrapper.

We had booked an AA but were very lucky to get an up sell to A1, (Garden Villa). I had visited one of the Villas on my previous cruise so I knew what to expect space wise, I never expected so much service wise.

Alex was our concierge on this sailing. We had sailed with him before on the Wind and knew what great service he provided. As many times as we change dinner reservation times and number of people dining Alex never said no. When one of our tours was cancelled Alex made sure we had an alternate, he also stopped by daily to see if there was anything we needed. He is personable, professional and an all around nice guy. As much as I like Claudio and Ruth I will always be excited to hear that Alex will be the concierge on our upcoming cruises.
