Ship Facts: Freedom of the Seas Review (by Cruise Critic!) | Freedom of the Seas Deck Plans
Great time on the FOS!!

We had a great time on the FOS this cruise. The only issue was the weather. Can't do anything about that, but go to the service desk on deck five and get the Dramamine. Due to the weather we missed Coco Cay. We were so looking forward to the snorkeling there.

But we did find a gem of a tour on St. Thomas. The snorkeling with turtles on the Black Beards Revenge was fantastic. Snorkeling with turtles was on my wife's bucket list. Got that one marked off!! Great crew. Great tour!

Kudos and WOW cards to Preety (Main dining and Windjammer) and Raymond (Champagne bar and main dining).

Used the Premium drink package. Got our moneys worth, but may need to cut back on the drinking next time :-O. Did try some new drinks which I would have not done without the package (Bahama Mama, good!!).

Food was great all week. We did eat one night in Portofinos. This was fantastic! The food and wine were out of this world. We did book the food and wine paring dinner, but there were not enough takers to hold that, but we ate there anyway. We just asked our waiter (Luis) to bring us what he recommended and liked. Great!! We have done this on other occasions, and have never been disappointed. Should have known this was the place to eat as we saw the Captain and many of the officers eating there also on this night.

This was the High Seas Rally cruise, and we were participating in that, so missed the Meet and Mingle (bummed). Will have to see if times can be coordinated better next time. However I did get a tour of the bridge from the Captain. This was a perk of the High Seas Rally. They worked out just a bridge tour as part of the fund raiser. Very cool. Thanks Capt. Tor!

Would we do the FOS again? In a heart beat. Would we do this itinerary again? Probably not. Liked the Western itinerary better this time of year, and have been to St. Thomas and St. Martin twice now. Royal does a great job. Will be looking to an Alaska itinerary.
