Just back from a great vacation on Norwegian Breakaway and still can't get over all the fun we had. This was our 3rd trip on NCL and it only keeps getting better. This ship was full house due to fall break. 5000 passengers with 1800 kids mostly from New Jersey including us. Definitely one of the best ships we have traveled so far, great water slides and plenty of activities for kids. The Aqua park was amazing especially the free fall slides, kids refused to get out of the Nick Jr pool, they also have a wave pool that was amazing. I totally fell in love with Spice H20 an outdoor dance floor/ theater, White Hot party, fireworks, and 80s parties were all amazing. It rained on Glow party and was little chilly on 80s night but NJ/NY crowd just know how to enjoy in bad weather. People were in jackets and towels but won't stop dancing outdoors under the stars. The rope climbing, zip lining and plank walk was all new for a NCL ship and kids absolutely loved them. It was 1st time for them to go zip lining and it brought out their strongest and bravest sides. The plank walk is 18 storey high in mid sea where you get to walk on less than 6'' wide plank out side the ship holding on to safety cables. My 7 and 8yr old did that and I think its a great achievement for them.

I heard lots of complaints about food and room I guess from people who go on a cruise only to eat. Food was decent catered to all tastes, even in full ship of 5K passengers I do not have a single complaint about their services or mannerism. Shows were great except Rock of Ages was not kids appropriate they need to include 1 more dance show that kids can enjoy or change rock of ages to make it less revealing. The Circus show was amazing and highly recommended. Our housekeeping guy was very nice and would wish us every single time we were in cabin with a big smile and always kept the cabin clean and welcoming. Beds were great very comfortable, we had a balcony so enjoyed every bit of it. I saw some comments about space issue, its a Ship Cabin not a hotel room so we need to adjust our lifestyle to that space.

Our second trip to Bahamas and skipped the Great Stirrup both the times due to bad weather :( was the only bad News. However we got 24 hrs in Bahamas and that turned out to be a blessing as we could did Atlantis, boat ride and snorkeling. Forgot to mention the SPLASH academy crew that absolutely rocked, non stop endless fun and parties for kids. This Cruise ship is highly recommended for family with kids
