We're a couple of senior citizens that love to cruise. This was our 8th cruise and our 3rd time on the Carnival Dream in 3 years. She looks worn and in need of a makeover. This 2008 beauty has lost her sparkle. The plastic covered furniture in the main lobby on deck 3 is embarrassing and uncomfortable. Carnival says that they "refurbish” each ship every 3 years, but Dream is way overdo.

Our Balcony: We were on the 9th deck, midship and couldn’t enjoy our balcony because of our neighbors smoking.

Formal Night: is more casual  not really formal.

Cabin Review

Our bed was very comfortable. The comforter was too warm even with the air conditioning on coldest. A sheet was not warm enough. A lighter blanket is needed. Room temp worked great. Lots of hot water. Great bathroom and shower. We brought the balcony chair inside to have a comfortable seat to read. The couch is utilitarian.Lots of closet space. Nice room.
