Ship Facts: Norwegian Breakaway Review (by Cruise Critic!) | Norwegian Breakaway Deck Plans
Nice boat, thats about it!!!!

First and foremost, being from NJ, love cruising out of NY.

Boat is huge and beautiful.

Pros- Ultimate beverage package(if you are a moderate drinker well worth it and most everything is included)

Kids and teen clubs(kids were occupied all day and night)

O'Sheehans pub(good pub food available all day and night)

Shows-Rock of Ages, Burn the Floor, Fat Cats Blues Club, Second City Comedy Show, Dueling Pianos.

Cabin- Balcony room Starboard Bow Deck 11, plenty of room for 2 adults, 2 teen girls, fit all suitcases under the beds. Balcony a little small but does the job. Bathroom was more than adequate for all 4 people.

Cabin Steward was excellent, polite, knew everyone by name, greeted as sir and madam.

CONS!!!!!!

Staff was so unfriendly that when you were greeted with good morning or hello how are you, it was a surprise.(except for cabin steward)

Pool area-way to small and no seating for chairs in the sun(had to go to upper deck for sun or sit on the pool edge bench.

Free style dining- complete disaster, 2+ hrs one night had to get up and go to the mixx bar for drinks, never got a refill on water. And that was a 6 o'clock reservation.

Besides the shows(that were so packed you had to go at least 30 min early to get a seat) there was very little entertainment on the boat, music was scares, pianos in 2 different bar areas empty 3 qtrs. of the day, same Caribbean music by pool everyday, no poolside activities or games for adults or kids. No music in the atrium unless it was a Michael Jackson Tribute, No acoustic guitar or piano while having a pre dinner drink.

Itinerary- Port Canaveral BORING FOR ALL AGES!!!! Nassau unless you want to spend 500 per family to go to Atlantis to go on a water slide, there is nothing, beaches were GROSS, broken glass, sliced open cans, a washed up tire and worst of all CONDOMS!!!! The beach was right next to Breezes Resort which was just as bad!!!

EXTRA EXTRA EXTRA everything on the boat is extra, pizza $5 extra, room service after midnight $4 extra.

More EXTRA places to eat then included places.

I will definitely go back to Carnival or Royal. And never do Nassau-Port Canaveral again.

Breakaway is a beautiful boat but that doesn't make the vacation.

And Free Style Dining is THE WORST IDEA EVER!
