Halloween on The Wonder was in fact Wonderful! My wife and I, both in our late 50's, had our long awaited honeymoon! The staff really know how to pamper you. So much layed back than the parks go go go atmosphere, though we do love the parks! Characters everywhere, with time to meet & greet and take no-rush pics with everybody! Do not miss the character breakfast,...all characters come to all tables and take pics with each person! Not to mention the funny napkin hats made for everybody. Sometimes we ate at the restaurants, sometimes the buffet, sometime the quick serve spots. The Broadway type shows were fantastic. Also comedians and ventriloquists with shows for all ages. Take advantage of all the 'stuff' offered. We took a couple of tours on board,...learned how to make those special towel animals,....also how to make special napkins. We had a blast! Cant wait to go again,....maybe the 3 day park/ 4 day cruise package with the grandkids next time. I suggest a Disney cruise for all ages,...they have special places just for you!
We loved the cabin, with a huge porthole to view outside. Every time you return to cabin from breakfast/lunch/dinner, wherever, your cabin has been cleaned! Every evening the bed turned down with a new towel animal, candy, and the ships next day 'menu' of events left on the bed! Plenty of room with large closet, drawers, shelves, and a split bathroom that is so convenient.
We rode bikes around the island early when it was very nice and cool. What a beautiful island. The bike trail is flat so it was easy for us 'old folks' to get around. lol. Spent time doing nothing on Serenity bay,...that was sure relaxing. Water a little cold, (October}, but we did get in, just to say we did! A big bar-b-que lunch, more relaxing, and plenty of photo opportunities with the characters. Unlike the parks, the photo taking is relaxed, cool, and all accommodating. We cant wait to head for Castaway Cay again, ASAP!!!
