This is third cruise with RCI and we have also cruised with Celebrity and now Princess. Since I have used the reviews to help me decide on a cruise, I thought it was time to reciprocate.

We spent 3 nights before the cruise in Ft. Lauderdale at the small and relaxing Merriweather Resort (see that review under TripAdvisor, MinnesotaSue). We are primarily looking for warm weather, certain islands we love to stop at and meeting new people.

We have always had fabulous luck in the MDR with people we have been seated with and this was one of the best. Great couple from New York and a mom from Florida and her daughter from NY too. The wait staff thought we knew each other we hit it off so well and we never wanted to miss a meal in the MDR to see what everyone did for the day. Since we all got along, frequently staff brought us food we like and just put it in the middle of the table for us to graze on, and dinnertime was always great.
