This was the worst Carnival cruise I have ever been on! The rooms are too small for 4 people. We paid extra for the window room, the construction of the room prevents you from truly accessing the window if yo have all 4 beds in use. It's impossible to even walk to the bathroom if you are on the side of the bed closest to the window. There is a bunk bead above your head and one above your feet, then the box that holds your life vest is in the corner underneath the bunk bed that is over your feet, which bumps the footboard of the king sized bed. You cannot walk around the obstacles to go to the bathroom.
The buffets open whenever they want usually somewhere around 7:30. When they do open, the lines are all the way to the next buffet that is "running late" and not open. If you have an 8:00 excursion, do not plan on eating, you won't have time.
The people at the service desk, act like they don't understand your complaints. They act like they don't speak English and they need to get someone else to help you, the other person never contacts you!
Want a soda with your breakfast? Well don't expect one, they don't open until 8 on the lido but if you want to go a few floors down and then head to the front of the boat, you may get one eventually. Great news service doesn't understand that either.
I don't normally complain and have always had positive things to say about carnival, until this experience. If you want to party, stay in New Orleans during the day (the time when streets are empty), you will have more fun by yourself then on this boat!
