STAR STILL SHINING BRIGHTLY

Sail Date: October 2013
Destination: Panama Canal & Central America
Embarkation: Miami

Once again sending my praises on my Panama Canal Cruise on the beautiful Norwegian Star 10/13/13 through 10/27/13.

Hotel Director Tony Winkler and team were just awesome.

FB Director Vikram Parthasarthy was just wonderful and I can see him becoming a Hotel Director in the future.

Being on the Star again was like returning home once again and even after sailing on the Breakaway with all the bells and whistles the Star still lives up to it's name and still shines brightly.

All the wait staff in Cagneys were superb. In fact all the crew everywhere was fantastic. Always smiling and greeting us like a big family reunion. Of course everyone knew us. It was one big HugFest. Candi Finkelstein the cruise director and Lorena the assistant CD are wonderful. They are a great team. I hope one day Lorena will be cruise director as well. What great talented people they are.

Concierge David Contreras is most attentive and awesome. We love him.

The More crossing of the Panama Canal was a most awesome sight. We thought it was just amazing. We had 14 days of sunshine and smooth sailing. The water was like glass.

Captain Kostas Fafalios was awesome and very approachable as were all the senior officers Onboard.

We had the honor and privilege to dine with the captain and senior doctor Devon one evening and with HD Tony another evening. It was such an honor and we appreciated it very much.

We enjoyed all the ports along the way and definitely will do this itinerary again in the future.

We ate in La Cucina, Cagney's,Le Bistro and Moderno and all were superb. We also ate in Blue Lagoon and the Aqua and Versailles dining room as well. Service was wonderful in all.

Did enjoy our balcony cabin and used balcony daily. Only problem in cabin was not enough storage space. Less
