We have cruised, several times, on each of the mega-ships and we are spoiled. We tried one of the smaller vessels in order to shorten our drive from Hilton Head ( our home) and although all of the RCCL ships are excellent, we love the monsters.

The solarium is heavenly with a low noise level and no screaming kids. Our favorite dining spot is WINDJAMMER. Yes, it is a booofay, but the waitstaff is ready to help you. The morale of that staff is very high and the view from Windjammer is very pleasant.

We dined at CHOPS and that was the first and the last time. My steak was represented as an 18 ounce ribeye. I should have returned it, but our waiter did a disappearing act for about ten minutes. The steak was less than 1/2" thick and tough. If it weighed 18 ounces it must have been weighed while on the hoof. At the Golden Coral, you would be served a similar piece of meat. The creme boule was good. My wife ordered a fish with a fancy name and should have sent that back. CHOPS will never have us as customers, in the future. It was very noisy, service was poor and the food, overall was not worth paying an extra dollar for.
