disappointing food

Sail Date: October 2013
Destination: Europe - Western Mediterranean
Embarkation: Palma de Mallorca

This was our ist cruise and i must admit it will be the last with the Thomson dream it wasn't a dream for us

i was seasick a couple of days i didn't seem to be able to find my sea legs but was surprised to find out later that others had that virus maybe it was the virus and not seasickness !

ist day our lamp had that fuzzy noise when lit so i told Leona and was replaced it was quite worrying as the next day my partner shouted to me to come to the bathroom the tap was running brown a deep brown with bits etc it was horrible it ran brown for a while and i put the plug in so as i could show Leona god knows what it was she had said it came from the engine ! ??

it looked as if it came from the toilet but it didn't smell thank goodness

so within 2 days i had the eletrain and a plumber i am sorry now i didn't go to reception to complain

but i was really sick and couldn't go anywhere and my partner inst the complaining type

so we left it More hoping that was the last of it

but i refused to use that tap so bottle water had to be bought so as i could brush our teeth etc

not idea really

i was really looking forward to the food and i was very disappointed a lot of it was cold and tasteless

i also found that the next day we had the same food remade over

same puddings every day just different colors of the mousse

the ice-cream wasn't about until the 4th day which was nice

the queues at the lido were too long and we found ourselves looking elsewhere to eat

hot food was the chips and burgers outside the lido

i didn't pay all that money to eat burgers and chips but at least it was hot

we did try all the other eating places but were all the same cold and uninteresting

the staff i found to be really nice and helpful the cabin was nice and was well looked after

we had met others who this was their 2nd and 3rd time on the dream and all said that the food had gone down hill big time and wouldn't be back

everyone we spoke to the same thing kept coming up the food !  and i spoke to a lot of people that week

we didn't go to the entertainment as i wasn't well most of the time so cant really comment

we didn't do any of the trips as i found them all very expensive

Thomson sort out your food otherwise people will not be happy to go on or back to the dream Less
