The celebrity reflection was our first cruise with Celebrity. We were attracted because of their "modern luxury" marketing and on a friends recommendation. Perhaps because of the itinerary and date, or the following transatlantic crossing the crowd was very old.

Optional dining options were good, especially the lawn club grill and Q-sine - however they didn't compare to the onshore style restaurants they were trying to imitate. Tuscan Grill is a run of the mill italian restaurant and Mirano's is a below average french. Q-sine was good, but not fine dining. The lawn club was our favourite...good atmosphere and great steak...and you get to grill your own and become part of the show. Never set foot in main dining hall. Blu, the special restaurant for the aqua class and suites was a good a la carte option with "healthier", lighter options, but service could be sketchy and slow.

Entertainment was bad...same 8 dancers in everything, same three singers do it all and not very well. The special "Sin City Comedy" was awful, too late in the evening and the tacky burlesque was odd and uncomfortable. The 2 dance shows were entertaining. The two lounge singer acts were not good.

Cabin Review

Great room, huge bathroom, lovely decorations, big deck...the tub on the deck was confusing...not big enough for a jacuzzi??Butler service was very good, but not as visible and handy as I would have liked. Two big screen TV's but the channels are not HD so the picture quality was so-so.Bar fridge was ridiculously loud...thankfully the door separating the bedroom eliminated the noise.
