My best friend and I took this short cruise to see if she would able to handle it without getting seasick. She did! It was great. We had an awesome time. The crew aboard the Golden Princess was very attentive. This was my 3rd cruise -her 1st. She will however be spoiled - we were able to grab a mini-suite for the price of a balacony room. Princess was running a special- we will receive full credit of the room cost for a furture cruise next year. We also purchased the FCC while on board which will also give us an additional ship board credit to use. Score!! The food was delish, and the service was excellent. We choose early traditional seating. We had a table of 8 and the other couples were great company. We saw the stage shows and they were great as well. We went to see one of the comedians , and apparently he was frustrated during his show because something wasnt working correctly. He walked off the stage in the middle of the act - not saying anything - at 1st everyone thought it was part of the act. Then he didnt come back. what a JERK, I hope he doesnt get paid for such bad showmanship. We were met upon arrival with a glass of champain in our room, our TA had sent chocolate covered strawberries. -what a way to start. Our room was always made up - our streward were great. I call them Nijas- they must jump in the minute we leave - because even coming back quickly I swear the room was completed. LOL

No complaints here- had a great trip

PS- There was always maintance going on as well, beautifully kept up ship.
