I've been on eight other cruises, but this is the first 10 day one and it still went by to fast. People on board, including staff were as friendly as could be, always lots of fun on pool deck. Found the food onboard to be ok, though wasn't too crazy about the buffet. Dissapointed that I couldn't get full size lobster tail at ala carte restaurants but we ate in East Meets West and the meal was very good.

In some spots the ship looked kind of old but for the most part the ship was modern and pleasant. We didn't know what to expect as this ship is smaller than NCL"s other bigger ships. The differance I found was that the 2 main dining rooms was only one level, there were only 4 ala cart restaurants, and the Galleria area for shopping onboard was alot smaller then say on the Dawn or the Gem. Also if you like Bingo, beware. The cheapest bingo package is 39.00 for only 3 games and if there is more then 1 winner you have to share the prize. On other cruises we have been on, it has only cost about 20.00, had more games, and the prize amounts were set, for instance prize amounts ranged from 100.00 to 750.00 to 1,000.00 and multiple winners each got the the full prize amount. Our room steward was very nice and helpful also, we had such cute towel animals in our cabin when we returned for the evening.

Casino is ok for a smaller ship but don't expect to win too much if at all. The biggest jackpot won was 5,000.00 but we have seen people win 20,000.00 40,000.00 or more on bigger ships.Only dissapointing day was when we were in Barbados because it stormed and poured all day so many people did not get to go on their shore excursions. In St Marteen we took a van on our own for 7.00 each way and were dropped at a beach on the opposite side of the boardwalk in the shopping area where we spent a nice afternoon.

Cabin Review

Cabin was smaller than on most other cruise lines but still managable, we stored our luggage and brought extra hangers.Closet was ample size for 2 people but really could have used more drawer space also.the bathroom was small but also managable. Actually being a smaller ship, I assumed it would be really small and narrow but was pleasantly surprised.
